Designing Decision Aids
Designing Decision Aids: A Public Deliberation is part of a research project at the Indiana University School of Medicine and IU Center for Bioethics.
This project hopes to both educate participants and get their advice. Our goal is to bring together people with different backgrounds, opinions, and life experiences to find out what is important for making more informed health-related decisions. Experts and doctors want to help patients and their families make good decisions, but don't always know how to do that well. This project will seek the advice of Hoosiers about what works and what doesn't. The advice will help guide the design of health information and support for patients in the future.
Participation in the Public Deliberation is by invitation only. Thirty-two (32) participants will be selected for the event from all the people who were mailed invitation letters and contacted our office to let us know they are interested.
