Tyler Burgardt will be talking about his work on agricultural projects with the Tumaini center.  There will be a discussion about food insecurity and food wastage both in Kenya and globally.    Join us for a fun night with drinks, a silent auction, games, photo booth, and more!

Hunger Banquet is a yearly fundraiser hosted by the Global Health Student Interest Group to support the Tumaini Center and the AMPATH Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Program in Eldoret, Kenya.

This year, our keynote speaker is Tyler Burgardt, who lived in Eldoret, Kenya for several years and worked closely with the children at the Tumaini Center to start sustainable agricultural projects!

Come out on May 6th, 2018 from 4-6pm to support a good cause, check out the amazing items in our silent auction, learn more about food insecurity, the Tumaini Center, and AMPATH's OVC Program, and enjoy a few of Centerpoint's finest brews!

Normally, we sell tickets to this event, but this year we will be asking for donations at the door. Our suggested donation is $10, or whatever is within your means!
